Self-braking belay device and descender

For work positioning on inclined surfaces and for switching between short ascents and descents on a rope.

• Simple to use:
  • control the rope running through the device by varying the grip on the free end of the rope,
  • use the handle to unlock the rope,
  • self-braking system: if the handle is released during descent, the cam rotates to pinch the rope and brake the user's descent.
  • ascending the rope is possible without changing the position of the device: simply add a footloop and a handled rope clamp / grab.
• Allows for belaying a leader or second. If a fall occurs, device facilitates braking.
